Thank you for your interest in supporting the Dale Jr. Celebrity Sports Auction. While it is Dale Jr.’s fifth year participating in the event, it is The Dale Jr Foundation’s first year hosting the event. In 2008 we have expanded to two nights of charitable events during the Charlotte Race Weekend. The first, a Charity Concert at Whisky River in Uptown Charlotte on Sunday, Oct. 12, will feature a national music act. The Celebrity Sports Auction will take place the following night, Oct. 13, at the Concord Convention Center and will host 3-4 national athletes/celebrities in a round table discussion/Q&A, as well as a live and silent auction. Proceeds from the events will benefit The Dale Jr. Foundation, Make-a-Wish and Victory Junction Gang Camp and provide great entertainment to all in attendance. The mission of the Dale Jr. Foundation is to give underprivileged individuals with a focus on youth, the resources to improve their confidence, education, and the opportunity to achieve extraordinary goals.
