Carquest Auto Parts 300

The race was delayed for rain, then rained short. Rain or no rain, both Brad and Dale Jr did very well and I think Dale Jr was glad the race was rained short. Brad came from the back of the field after both the primary and back up car were damaged during practice. The 88 team left LMS on Thursday and spent their off day at JR Motorsports changing their car (which was set up for Dover) to the set up they had for LMS. Brad finished 8th, and with the last caution (after the caution before that came out while half the field was on pit road and they went down 1 lap) got back on the lead lap and finished 13th. Brad remains 5th in points as of this race.
